Trunk Busy-out

Description

Trunk Busy-out lets you busy-out a specific trunk so that it cannot be accessed. When you perform a Trunk Busy-out, the trunk is immediately busied out if it is idle. If the trunk is in use, it is busied out as soon as it becomes idle.

To busy-out a trunk:

  1. Lift the handset.

  2. Dial the Individual Trunk Access feature access code.

  3. Press *.

  4. Dial the trunk number.

To return a trunk to service:

  1. Lift the handset.

  2. Dial the Individual Trunk Access feature access code.

  3. Press #.

  4. Dial the trunk number.

To verify that a trunk has been returned to service:

  1. Lift the handset.

  2. Dial the Individual Trunk Access feature access code.

  3. Dial the trunk number.

To busy-out a trunk:

  1. Press Function.

  2. Press Trk Function.

  3. Enter the number of the trunk.

  4. Press Enter.

  5. Do one of the following:

  6. To busy-out an idle trunk, press Busy.

  7. To busy-out and active trunk when it becomes idle, press Courtesy Dwn.

  8. To busy-out an active trunk and drop its call, press Force Dwn.

  1. Press Exit.

To return a trunk to service:

  1. Press Function.

  2. Press Trk Function.

  3. Enter the number of the trunk.

  4. Press Enter.

  5. Press Busy/Rts.

  6. Press Ret To Serv.

  7. Press Exit.
